Alicia’s veterinary journey started with a lifelong love of animals and volunteer experience at shelters, veterinary clinics, and animal fundraising events. She earned her Veterinary Assistant diploma from Ashworth College in 2021 and went on to gain hands-on experience in small animal practice.
She later joined Willow Grove, an animal wellness and integrative medicine facility, where working with sensitive and fearful animals became one of the most rewarding parts of her role. Alicia earned her Fear Free certification in 2023 and expanded her skills further in 2024 by completing her Canine Hydrotherapy certification with honours.
Alicia now brings that compassionate approach to our team as she expands her experience in urgent care veterinary medicine. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with Jasper, her energetic Border Collie, and Rolo, her rescue cat.
