Michael Dodge is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated in the fall of 2020. He has been working in emergency medicine since graduating from the technician program at Oulton College.
Michael has had a passion for animals ever since he was a little kid. He would ask for animal encyclopedias for presents to further broaden his knowledge and understanding of animals. One of his greatest role models growing up was the late Steve Irwin, who helped teach him love and compassion for all animals as well as the world they live in.
Now, Michael finds himself as a part of the Veterinary Urgent Care Group, where he is using his emergency experience to help your pets in need. He has a special interest in surgery, especially anesthetics, which comes from admiration for his father, who was an anesthesiologist at the Moncton Hospital for 20+ years.
On his days off, you can find Michael relaxing at home reading a book, watching Netflix or spending time with his 4-year-old rescue pitbull mix, Mira.
