Amanda Baker is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated in the fall of 2021. She has experience working in both orthopedic and emergency medicine since graduating from the technician program at Oulton College.
She attended Mount Allison for a year before finding her passion in veterinary medicine. She loves surgery and comforting both patients and clients during emergent times. She worked for Royal Canin for several years and also has a passion for nutrition and client education. She is fear-free certified and loves to incorporate that into her everyday career by ensuring all pets get the best possible care.
Amanda is known for her abundance of animals that surround her. She loves dog sports, which include Flyball, Agility and Dock Diving on her days off. She has a sweet boy, a black lab who is her world and a cattle dog named Hellion. Dogs and training are her preferred passions outside of work, and she can be found at any given time doing something involving dogs.
